Please someone would kindly guide me in this matter. Step by step, if you would, kindly. I have a Dell Laptop and a locally assembled Desktop. I shall buy a 'crossover' cable. After they are so connected, would it be possible to transfer files easily from laptop to the desktop? Laptop has XP Home and Desktop has XP Pro. How to go about it?Thanks for any help.
