My PC's
PC1:
- Compaq presario
- p4 northwood 2.66GHz
- 512MB RAM
- ATI 9200 128MB graphics
- Maxtor IDE 120GB HDD
- Windows XP

PC2:
- Custom Build
- P4 Prescott 3.06GHz with Arctic cooling freezer cooler
- 1GB Corsair Value RAM (2x512MB DDR400)
- Gigabyte Mobo
- 160GB seagate SATA
- gigabyte ATI 9250 128MB graphics
- Thermaltake 460w PSU
- DVDR + DVD drives
- Dual boot Ubuntu + XP (main ubuntu)

Server:
- custom build
- AMD sempron 2800
- 160GB Western Digital SATA
- 64MB 9200SE ATI graphics
- 512MB RAM
- ubuntu server

all networked with a netgear 10/100 switch with a BT home hub for broadband and internet phone. planning to upgrade network to Gigabit.
as you can see not the best pc's but work fine for me. could do with better graphics card on at least one so i can actually play some decent games.

pc1+pc2 run off one keybourd and mouse shared over network with synergy which makes for easy movement between pc's. have a 19" widescreen Acer on PC2 and a standard 15" on pc1. server runs over network with SSH and webadmin.

As a note: You do have a pretty good set of kit... lot of gear thats for sure!!! What do you use your pc's for?

It's OK, but I'm sure yuo could get some decent games on. Just tweak the setttings or overclock the card.

You could open the drivers and change some settigns, turning up the 3d accelerator etc. You can get into from Control Pannel. You could also try tweaking the game settings by making the run at there lowest settings.
I wouldn't really overclock though.

You could get a ZalmanVGA cooler...

nVidia's latest nTune is fantastic! but you dont have an nVidia Sad
