connecting to internet thru laptop
hi all
i am looking for some advice please but bear in mind i am a complete computer novice!! my wife has just got a samsung netbook for her birthday but when i tried to connect to the internet through the router it would not connect my son also has a laptop which was working fine but that also stopped connecting the router we have is a netgear dg834g v3 after looking on the netgear website i found the only way i could connect both laptops was if i turned the router security off obviously i am a bit worried about leaving it like this but when i reactivated the wep security on the router they still couldnt connect any help or advice would be most welcome many thanks |

Hello Friend,
Getting to know about your problem I though of sharing in a suggestion with you. Install Internet sharing on the laptop buy a "crossover" cat-5 cable (this is critical only a crossover cable will allow you to connect two PC's together). private villas bali |
