RE: Unable to load web pages
My guess would be his proxy settings? Is it networked? If so wireless or wired, or is it plugged into broadband/ Pay As You Go?
What ISP?

Thanks Adam for replying to my sons problem. He tried the proxy settings but to no avail. He has now taken his computer into a local shop. They reckon it is only settings and hope to sort it quite quickly.
Cheers Norman.

RE: Unable to load web pages
IT could be your network? If so do you have one?
Again it could be the ISP, especially if you have broadband as there MUST be filters in every single phone jack coming in to your house. Even if they have nothing attached! There are countless broadband problerms solved by this (and don't go for cheap ones either). If it's dial up then I'm not sure but, if you can we will solve your problem more with the details above.
